What Else Can We Expect From GEINE?

                                        River or Brackish Water Filtration

                                         GEINE River Filtration (GRF)

The GEINE River Filtration system is a rapid deployment, mobile, potable water disinfection and filtration plant. A complete packaged system designed to treat raw water from fresh water river sources of varying quality.

The GRF mainly operates in locations where there is a need to filter/disinfect open source fresh water for drinking or other industrial purposes. The GRF is submerged in the river at mid-depth, ideally closer to a river shore. The GRF's water-current-generator harnesses the water current to produce pumping power for the filtration/disinfection process. Product water is pumped to shore through an underwater pipeline using the energy of the water current generator.
The GRF can produce up to 60,000 gallons per day (2,500 gallons per hour) during mobile emergency or standard operations. Raw water quality may determine the actual production schedule.

Performance - Complete destruction of all pathogenic bacteria, parasitic protozoa's, and viruses.
The GRF can also be used as a water distribution facility. The energy generated by the water-current-generator can be used to pressurize the product water for further transportation to more distant locations.

Filtration Technology consists of disinfection and oxidation via ozonation in conjunction with woven mesh screen filtration. There is no chlorine requirement as part of the disinfection process. Pre-filtration and filtration is processed via automatic self-cleaning filters down to 2 microns. The GRF has no back-washing or pre-scheduled daily down-time maintenance functions that are labor and chemical intensive and which could result in reduced daily production targets.

                                                      Pumping Applications
The Water Current Generation System is ideally equipped and capable of serving as a Pumping system for various tasks. As outlined below you will see the tremendous ability and versatility of the Water Current Generator and can imagine what it might be able to provide within the structure of your needs.
Irrigation
Throughout the world, irrigation (water for agriculture, or growing crops) is probably the most important use of water (except for drinking). Almost 60 percent of all the world's freshwater withdrawals go towards irrigation uses. Large-scale farming could not provide food for the world's large populations without the irrigation of crop fields by water obtained from rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and wells. Without irrigation, crops could never be grown in the deserts of California, Israel, or my tomato patch. 1

Mining Applications

Like all other industries, mining corporations need water to make bare rock give up its valuable minerals. Mining water use is water for the extraction of minerals that may be in the form of such solids as coal, iron, sand, and gravel; such liquids as crude petroleum; and such gases as natural gas. The category includes quarrying, milling (crushing, screening, washing, and flotation of mined materials), re-injecting extracted water for secondary oil recovery, and other operations associated with mining activities.
